Vasyl Netsko’s Art Exhibition in Piaseczno
On September 10, 2022, the Main Library in Piaseczno was the setting for an engaging exhibition of Ukrainian-born artist Vasyl Netsko’s work. The event showcased Netsko’s pieces, inspired by Gdańsk’s history and architecture, under a unique retro vibe.
A standout feature of the exhibition was the imaginative use of ultraviolet lighting to illuminate the artworks. This innovative approach highlighted the bright elements of Netsko’s paintings, creating a mesmerizing “glow” effect that enchanted viewers, providing a distinctive experience both in daylight and in the darkened ambiance of the exhibition space.
The exhibition, which ran until the 29th of September, was not just a display of Netsko’s artistic talents but also a part of the broader “Let’s Get Acquainted—Piaseczno’s Meetings with Ukraine” project. This initiative aimed to foster cultural exchanges and deepen the understanding between the local community and Ukrainian heritage through the universal language of art.
